Fees
Psychological Coverage Fees
The British Columbia Medical Services Plan does not cover the cost for psychological services. Extended medical plans through a person's workplace may however provide some coverage. Each extended plan is different and the amount of coverage should be determined before commencing therapy. The British Columbia Psychological Association recommended hourly rate for individual therapy is $160. Our practice rate is set at or below this amount for each client. The therapist and client determine the appropriate rate before therapy commences.
Sessional Fees
When services are provided under a contract with an agency sessional rates are negotiated.
Assessments Fees
The cost of an assessment is determined by the type of assessment and the amount of time required for testing and interviews, test costs, and the complexity of the report. These costs should be discussed prior to commencement of an assessment.

PTSD Plus Program
Costs will vary depending on the group size. For example:
5 clients: $336.00 per week (or $56.00 per hour)
6 clients: $280.00 per week (or $46.67 per hour)

Depression Management Program
The cost per person for the eight sessions and initial interview is $450.
Costs of the program may be partially covered by extended health plans through your workplace (as indicated in the (Psychological Coverage section of this page). For example, Federal Public Servants and family members have $1000.00 per year of coverage of which 80% is refunded.
